Greentime TV # 318: “Why Can’t Nuclear Power Be Cheap?”

In early 2009 the Missouri legislature defeated attempts to pave the way for a new nuclear power plant by repealing the state’s No-CWIP law. “CWIP” refers to “construction work in progress. Host Don Fitz interviews veteran nuke foe Kay Drey and Kathleen Logan-Smith of the Missouri Coalition for the Environment. They discuss how the No-CWIP law prevents citizens from paying for a nuclear power plant that is never completed. This Green Time (No. 318) is produced by the Gateway Greens in conjunction with KDHX.
